Ingredients:  
1/2 cup butter or marg.
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 cup cherry juice (if short, add orange juice or milk)
1 small jar maraschino cherries, drained (reserve juice)
1/2 cup nuts

Directions:

Heat oven to 350.

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and cherries. The mixer will break the cherries apart. Mix dry ingredients together and add alternately with the juice. Fold in nuts and stir in vanilla. Pour in greased loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour.
