"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
2 eight oz. pkgs. cream cheese (softened) 1 c. sour cream 4 T. mayonnaise 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. dry mustard 3 shakes garlic salt 1/4 c. cheddar cheese (sharp is good) 1/2 c. grated cheddar or fresh Parmesan cheese 1 lb. crab meat
Mix together all ingredients except crabmeat and 1/2 c. cheddar or Parmesan. Remove shells from crabmeat and stir it in. Put in baking dish and top with cheese. Bake @ 325º for 30 minutes. Serve with crackers or tortilla chips or in pastry shells. Do not overcook. (Pastry shells get soggy. Serve quickly!.)
This is another favorite appetizer. Even people who dislike seafood usually like it. Great for holidays and parties.
