1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. cherry gelatin
2 tbls. salad oil
1/2 c. water
3 eggs
1/4 c. chopped maraschino cherries
1/2 c. water
FROSTING:
juice from cherries jar
3 tbls. drained cherries
1/4 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake mix with gelatin, oil, and 1/2 c. water. Add 3 eggs, 1/4 c. chopped cherries, and 1/2 c. water.
Pour into two 9 in. pans. Grease and flour bottoms only or use wax paper liners.
Bake at 350 40-45 min.

For frosting: use maraschino cherry juice for water in your favorite chocolate frosting and add 3 tbls. drained cherries and 1/4 c. chopped nuts.
