1 1/2 pounds hamburger or ground chuck, browned.
Put half of this in a small roaster. Cook about 4 handfuls of noodles and put over hamburger. Put 1 can drained saurkraut over noodles. Add rest of hamburger over saurkraut. Pour 2 cups tomato juice over top.

Cover and bake at 350 for about 15 minutes. Then uncover and bake another 30 to 45 minutes. Optional toppings-buttered bread crumbs last 10 minutes, or grated cheese. (I don't top with anything extra)
