6 T butter softened 1 c dark brown sugar 1 ts cinnamon 1 c chopped walnuts Mix together.
1/2 c shortening 3/4 c sugar 3 eggs 1 ts vanilla 2 c flour 1 ts salt 1 ts baking soda 1/2 pint sour cream
Mix in order given.
Use spring or angel food pan. Place half of dough in well greased pan; then add half of nut mix; rest of dough, followed by nut mix. Bake 350º for 45 - 50 minutes. Frost with powdered sugar frosting, if wanted.
