2 Tbs butter
1/8 tsp salt
2 cups water

Bisquick dumpling recipe

Directions:
Directions:
Melt and brown 1/2 cup sugar in heavy skillet. Add butter and 1 cup sugar, salt and water. Cook till all sugar is dissolved (about 10 min), stirring occasional.
Make dumplings and drop on top, put lid on pan and let cook till dumplings are done. About 10 min. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
