Chicken Fricassee with Sesame Seed Recipe

2 lb. chicken, cut
2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
c. sesame seed
1 tbsp. oil
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp. onion powder
tsp. garlic powder
tsp. sugar
1/16 tsp. cloves
1/16 tsp. cinnamon

Combine chicken, water and salt in large saucepan. Cover and simmer until tender (about 30 minutes). Remove chicken from broth to platter; keep warm.

Reserve 1 c. broth; set aside. In jar of blender, grind sesame seed. In large skillet, heat oil. Add sesame seed. Cook and stir over moderate heat until golden, about 5 minutes. Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, sugar, cloves and cinnamon. Cook 5 minutes. Stir in reserved broth, heat, and then spoon over chicken. Serves 4.
