Dough:
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 T. butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 cup flour
1/2 cup milk
1/2 chopped dates
1 cup nuts
Syrup:
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups water
1 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Put sauce ingredients in pan and bring to boil. Mix dough ingredients & place dough ingredients in heavy baking dish and pour sauce over top. Bake at 350 until dough comes to top and is browned well.

Note: Dad's favorite!
