1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 2/3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 cup sour cream
Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, sugar, egg and vanilla until well blended. Add dry ingredients and add to sugar mixture alternately with sour cream.
Roll out to 1/4" thickness on well floured board (add a little sugar to the flour). Cut out with large round cutter and sprinkle top with sugar. Bake on greased cookie sheet 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Bake in 425º oven.
