4 cups sliced apples
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup raisins (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Place apples in a 10 X 6 inch baking pan, add water. Combine flour, salt, sugar and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture resembles course crumbs. Sprinkle over apples.

Bake at 350║ F for 30-40 minutes.
