¼ tsp. sugar ½ c. warm water 1 pkg. yeast 5 c. flour ½ c. sugar 4 tsp. baking powder ½ tsp. baking soda 1 ½ tsp. salt 2 c. buttermilk ½ c. vegetable oil
Mix ¼ tsp. sugar and warm water, then add yeast and allow it to dissolve. Combine dry ingredients. Add yeast mixture, buttermilk and oil. Mix well. Keep dough covered in the refrigerator and use it as needed.
Bake in well-greased muffin tins at 350º for 15 to 20 minutes. Yields 32 rolls.
