c. milk, scalded and cooled to lukewarm
1 tsp. salt
c. sugar
stick margarine, melted
c. warm water
2 pkg. dry yeast
1 egg
1 c. flour; plus 3 to 4 c. more, all unsifted

Directions:
Directions:
Combine milk and salt. Stir in sugar, melted margarine, warm water, yeast and egg.
Add 1 cup flour and stir well. Beat in remaining flour. Let rise 30 minutes until rolls are double in size. Punch down and form into rolls. Let rise an additional 30 minutes.

Bake in 400 oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Yields 18 rolls.
