1 pkg. dry yeast
1/ tsp. ginger
1/2 c. warm water
3 tbsp. honey
1 large can evaporated milk
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. salad oil
2-1/2 c. flour
1-1/4 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. wheat germ
1/4 c. cracked wheat

Mix yeast, ginger, warm water, and honey; set until foamy. Add milk, salt and oil to yeast mixture and mix well. Add flours 1 cup at a time, then add cracked wheat. Fill two 1-lb. greased coffee cans and cover with plastic lids (or 2 greased loaf pans). When lid pops off, ready to bake (approx. 1 hour).

Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
