1 Lb. bacon sliced into thirds
1/4 Lb. bulk sausage
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. herb season dressing
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Bring butter and water to a boil and stir in dressing. Take slightly beaten egg and put in dressing with raw sausage. Mix thoroughly. Put mixture in refrigerator and cool 30 min. or more. Make mixture into 1” logs. Roll bacon around logs. Secure with toothpicks.

Bake at 375 for 20 min. Turn over and bake for another 15-20 min. till brown. Drain

Because these are a great hors d’ouvres; doubling and 4x will be barely enough for a party as they are nearly first to go; especially by the men. Clay says it has something to do with the bacon.
