1 - 20oz. can of crushed pineapple in heavy syrup
1 - 21oz. can of cherry pie filling

1 pkg. of yellow cake mix (two layer size)
1 c. pecans (chopped)
1/2 c. margarine or butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 13x9 inch baking pan. Spread the pineapple, with its syrup evenly in the pan and spoon the cherry pie filling evenly over it. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the other ingredients and then sprinkle on the chopped pecans. Cut the chilled butter or margarine into thin slices and then place the slices evenly on top of the chopped nuts. Bake for 50 minutes or until golden. Serve warm or hot.
