"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
1 can (19 oz) chick peas 2 Tbsp peanut butter or tahini 2 Tbsp plain yogurt 2 cloves garlic 1 Tbsp olive oil juice of 1 lemon 1/2 tsp cumin salt and pepper to taste 2 roasted red peppers, skinned and diced
Place garlic in food processor and process to finely chop. Add everything else but the salt and pepper. Mix until you have a nice thick puree. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with toasted pita chips and fresh veggies or spread on pita or tortilla and fill with grilled chicken or roasted veggies to make a wrap.
