1 stick butter
2 egg whites (beaten stiff)
1 c. sugar
pinch of salt
1 lb. pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300 and melt butter in jelly roll pan in oven. Gradually fold sugar and salt into beaten egg whites. Stir nuts into egg white mixture and spread in pan with melted butter. Heat in oven for 1 hour, stirring every 10 minutes. Cool and break into bite sized pieces. Watch last 15 minutes or so to prevent from getting too browned.
