3 lbs pork side ribs
2 cups brown sugar (packed)

2 Tbsp each soy sauce and ketchup
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp ginger, grated
1 can (14oz) pineapple tidbits in juice, undrained

Directions:
Directions:
Cut pork ribs into 2 or 3 rib sections. Over medium-high heat, mix together all ingredients (except ribs) in a small saucepan. Heat and stir until boiling and thickened. Layer ribs in a slow cooker, spooning sauce over each layer. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours or on high for 5-6 hours until ribs are very tender. If you want to thicken the sauce after removing the pork, just pour the juice into a saucepan and add 2 Tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup water, then bring to a boil.
