1 cube butter,
7 large or 40 small marshmallows

Cook three minutes in microwave on high. Stir once each minute. Use a scant 1/2 cup popcorn for one batch in the hot air popper. Use two batches popcorn for each batch of caramel.

This is so easy and so yummy. I've slaved over a stove many times with a stove top caramel recipe for popcorn balls, but this tastes just as good and is far less messy and much quicker. It's a fun one to do with kids and makes a good Christmas gift for neighbors. You can put it into cans or make balls out of it.
