"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Ham Delights, by Tiffany Wells Nettles, is from Cooking in Cottontown,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
2 lbs ham, grounded in food processor 2 sticks very soft butter 2 T worchestershire sauce 8 oz grated swiss cheese 3 T yellow mustard 3 T poppy seeds 3 T grated onion 3 packs Pepperidge Farm Party Rolls
Mix all ingredients together well. Split the rolls in half horizontally as they come out of the tin tray. Spread the mixture heavily on the bottom half and put the top back on. Put the rolls back in the tray, cover with tinfoil and bake at 400º for 15 - 20 minutes. Remove foil and cut into individual rolls.
These freeze beautifully and are perfect for entertaining and tailgating. Just thaw and bake as directed.
