1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
2 cups crushed rice chex
1 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Set ice cream out to soften, mix all the other ingredients together and line 9 x 13 pan with 2/3 of the mix. Spread ice cream out with spatula and put rest of mixture on top. Freeze and a couple of minutes before serving take out of freezer.

If you wish, top with a little cherry pie mix. I use blender to mix rice chex and nuts together.

Katie, Mom used to make this in the summer for 4th of July parties, Dad would do fireworks and then Mom would serve this. Very refreshing and brings back good memories.
