1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 (19 oz.) cans tomatoes
3 cans consomme
1 can tomato soup
3 stalks celery, sliced
2 medium potatoes (diced)
1 onion
3 cups water
4 carrots, sliced or in short sticks
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat and onions. Drain. Combine all ingredients in a large pot.

Simmer covered at least two hours or all day.
