8 medium potatoes
10 slices bacon
1-1/3 c chopped onion
4 T flour
4T sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp.celery seed
1/4 tsp. pepper
1-1/3 c water
4 T vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion in bacon fat until golden brown. Blend in flour, sugar & seasonings. Cook over low heat stirring until smooth. Stir in water & vinegar. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Stir in potatoes - cooked, peeled & sliced thinly and add crumbled bits of bacon. Serves 8
