1 c. white sugar 1 c. powdered sugar 1 c. Crisco shortening 1 c. butter 2 eggs 4 c. flour 1 t. cream of tartar 1 t. soda 2 t. vanilla
Cream together sugars, shortening and eggs. Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Stir in vanilla. Refrigerate 2 hours or more. Make very small balls then flatten with a fork. Bake 375º for 15 minutes.
