"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
5 cups oatmeal 1 cup almonds 1 cup sunflower seeds 1 cup coconut 1 cup soy flour 1 cup powdered milk 1 cup wheat germ raisins (optional)
Put one cup honey and one cup oil in a pan and heat. Then add the rest of the ingredients. Spread mixture thin on cookie sheet and cook at 250 - 300º until brown. (20 to 30 minutes). It totally depends on how crunchy you like it. ( We like it crunchy!)
I always add the raisins after it has been cooked. It works fine to mix and match ingredients.
