1 pie crust, cooked and cooled
1 qt. fresh strawberries
whipped topping

Sauce:
3 T. strawberry Jello
3 T. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Wash strawberries and remove stems. Leave whole and let drain well. Mix the jello, cornstarch, sugar in saucepan. pour boiling water over dry mixture. Cook over low heat stirring constantly until thick and clear. Cool. In the meantime, completely cover the bottom of the cooled baked pie shell with the strawberries in an upright position. When cooled, pour liquid mixture over the strawberries. Garnish with whipping cream or other whipped topping. Keep refrigerated.

Joyce is the wife of Robert Hollenshead and the daughter-in-law of Virginia (Rogers) Hollenshead & the late John Hollenshead. This is a favorite of Robert. When he comes home with strawberries he wants a strawberry pie!
