150g unsalted butter
1/4 cup soft brown sugar
1/3 cup caster sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 1/2 cups self raising flour
1 cup choc dots (200g)

Preheat oven to moderate 180. Line a 32 x 28cm biscuit tray with baking paper.
Using electric beaters, beat butter, sugars and yolk in small mixing bowl until light and creamy. Add essence, eat until combined.
Transfer mixture to large mixing bowl; add the flour and two thirds of the dots. Using metal spoon, stir until ingredients are just combined.
Using fingers, press mixture together to form a soft dough. Roll one tbsp of mixture at a time into a all.
Press remaining dots firmly ontop of balls. Arrange onto tray allowing room for spreading. Bake for 15mins or until crisp and lightly browned. Cool biscuits on tray.
