1 (16 oz) box rice chex
1 1/2 c sweetened coconut
1 1/2 sliced almonds
1 1/2 c. margarine
1 1/2 c light corn syrup
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
combine cereal, almonds and coconut in a very large mixing bowl. set aside. combine butter, corn syrup and sugar in a saucepan. cook and stir over med-high heat until mixture reaches 235 deg. (soft ball stage). Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla: stir well. Pour over cereal mixture and stir until well combined. Spread on wax paper to cool.
