1 cup flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup salt
1 Tablespoon oil
1 Tablespoon cream of tarter

Directions:
Directions:
Add food coloring, as desired. Cook in electric pan until dough pulls away from sides. Do not overcook. Store in Ziploc bag. If you do not have an electric skillet a regular pan on top of the stove works fine.

Over my 25 years at the Growing Place Pre-School this receipe was always the favorite for playdough. It lasts about 10 weeks and all children love it.
