1/3 cup butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 cups 1% milk
6 TBSP flour (Wondra brand is recomeded), divided

Directions:
Directions:
1. Melt butter on low heat and saute garlic until fragrant (approx. 1 minute).
2. Add 3 TBSP flour and stir.
3. Add seasonings and stir.
4. Add milk and stir with wire whisk. Add 3 TBSP flour and whisk.
5. Bring to a boil, then reduce.
6. Cook on low for 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until thickened.
7. Serve over pasta, such as fettucine or linguine.

I adapted this recipe from another sauce recipe. I tried to make a "healthier" version by using milk instead of heavy cream. The sauce comes out creamy and full of flavor!
