2 lb. beef chuck (stew meat) 1 1/4 inch cubs
4 c water
1 medium onion
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 c cut celery
6 carrots
1/2 lbs. white onions (optional)
3 potatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat slowly, add water, onions and seasoning. Simmer 2 hours, add vegetables. Thicken liquid with 4 tablespoons flour, in 1/2 c cold water. Tomatoes can be added.
