4 hotdogs
cooking oil
ketchup or mustard if desired
4 hamburger rolls (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Take each hotdog and carefully slice in half lengthwise, approximately halfway through the hotdog. Next make slices approximately 1/2 inch apart down the hotdog, again about halfway through the hotdog. Carefully place in hot cooking oil, turning once until the hotdogs curl up. Place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve with mustard or ketchup for dipping or place in hamburger bun if desired.
