1/3 cup butter or margarine
1 cup Chicken in a Biscuit cracker crumbs
2 cans asparagus, drained (fresh is better)
2 4 oz. pkgs toasted almonds
1 can mushroom soup
3 strips bacon

Directions:
Directions:
Cut fresh asparagus into 2 inch lengths and cook until crisp tender. Melt butter but do not brown. Add crumbs and mix with butter. Place half of crumbs in a casserole and add 1 can asparagus, 1 pkg. almonds and 1/2 can of mushroom soup. Then in layers add asparagus, almonds and mushroom soup. Sprinkle top with rest of buttered cracker crumbs and bacon which has been fried and crumbled Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
