2 large Vidalia onions
2 T. butter
2 T. dry white wine
1 T. honey
2 T. fresh lime juice
1/2 tsp. white pepper
salt, to taste
lots of freshly ground pepper, to taste
1/2 lb. Brie cheese, rind removed
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
1/4 c. seasoned bread cubes

Directions:
Directions:
Saute the onions in butter until they begin to soften. Add wine, honey, lime juice, salt and the two peppers. Cook on low heat about 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Transfer to a buttered casserole and add Brie in 1/2 " chunks throughout dish.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese followed by bread crumbs. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Serve as an appetizer with crackers or as a vegetable side dish.
