1 1/4 cups self-rising flour
2 tbsp. sugar
3/4 to 1 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat lightly greased griddle.
Stir flour and sugar in mixing bowl.
Combine milk, egg and oil.
Add liquid ingredients to flour mixture, stirring until well blended. Batter will be slightly lumpy.
Pour about 1/4 cup batter onto hot griddle for each standard-size pancake.
Cook until golden brown, turning once.
Serve with butter and syrup.

*For thick pancakes use 3/4 cup milk. For thinner pancakes add milk as needed.
