3/4 cup sugar
1 cup chopped nuts
1 large can crushed pineapple, drained*
8 oz. cream cheese
12 oz. Cool Whip
3-4 red delicious apples, diced*
Cherries (optional)

*Dip the diced apples in the pineapple juice to keep the apples from turning.

Directions:

Mix the cream cheese and sugar; then add the pineapple, apples, nuts, and fold in Cool Whip. Add cherries if desired for flavor and color.
