12 medium onions, thinly sliced
3 c crushed potato chips
4 c shredded cheese
2 cans of mushroom soup
12 cup milk
Cayenne pepper optional

Directions:
Directions:
Combine both cans of mushroom soup and milk, mix well. In buttered 9x13 pan, layer onions, 1/2 of the crushed potato chips, 1/2 of the shredded cheese, 1/2 of the mushroom soup mix. Repeat layers. Salt and pepper the onions in each layer. Sprinkle top layer with cayenne pepper if desired.

Bake at 350 for one hour.
