3 cups milk
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup flour (all purpose)
Shortening (for Deep Frying)
Confectioners Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg with milk, gradually beat in flour, sugar, salt and baking powder until smooth. Holding the opening of a funnel closed with your fore finger and fill funnel with batter.Controlling the flow of batter with your forefinger dribble the batter outward in a circle. Start by making little swirls, swirling batter outward into circles. Fry 2-3 minutes in deep fryer. Drain on paper towel and sprinkle with confectioner's sugar.
