2 lb. Dates
1/2 c. Maple Syrup
3 tsp. Cinnamon
3 tsp. Nutmeg
2 tsp. Citrus zest

Directions:
Directions:
Pit Dates and chop well on a cutting board. Transfer to a medium size bowl and add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well. Take the whole mixture and roll it out to about 1/2 in. thickness on a lightly oiled cookie sheet. Chill mixture in refrigerator for 30 minutes then slice into bars of desired size. These will keep in a refrigerator for at least 1 month if kept in an airtight container.
