2 c. cooked wild rice (boil in about 2 c. water for 1 hour).
1 large onion
1 rib of celery
1 can of canned mushrooms
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
8 c. of chicken broth (4 cans chicken broth soup and water to make 8 cups)
1 c. half and half cream
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Cook rice separately. Cook celery, mushrooms, onions, and butter and cook in pan for 3 minutes until vegetables are soft. Sprinkle in flour slowly (take off burner). Slowly add chicken broth, stir well. Then add rice and heat thoroughly. Then add cream.
