1 head shredded lettuce
1 (10 oz.) frozen peas
1 green pepper
1 medium onion
2-3 stalks of celery
3/4 c. mayo
2 T. sugar
1 c. grated or shredded cheese
4-5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Directions:
Directions:
Shred or break lettuce into bite sized pieces in bottom of large salad bowl. In layers add cooked, drained and cooled peas, chopped green pepper, chopped onion and chopped celery. Mix the sugar with mayo and spread evenly over top of vegetables. Cover tightly and store in refrigerator overnight. When ready to serve, toss slightly, sprinkle cheese over top and then bacon bits.
