1 c. shortening
1 c. molasses (Green label)
1 c.white sugar
1/2 c.sour milk
3 tsp.soda
2 eggs (save one white for frosting)
1 tsp.cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. salt
4 c. flour ( more may be needed for rounded cookie)

Frosting:
6 T. water
1 c. sugar
6 large marshmallows

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together. Drop by spoonfuls on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 8 - 10 minutes at 350.
Frost with white frosting.

Frosting:
Bring water and sugar to a soft ball stage (236 - 242)
Add 6 large marshmallows to boiled mixture. Beat egg white with a pinch of salt until it stands in stiff peaks. Pour boiled mixture over egg white and stir. Spread on cooled cookies.
