1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
flour to make stiff batter
2 tsp. baking powder
2 cups sliced rhubarb
1 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 cup boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter and sugar. Add the milk alternately with flour and baking powder until a stiff batter forms. Spread batter into a greased baking dish. Mix the rhubarb, sugar, butter, and boiling water and pour over the batter. Bake about 45 minutes.
