6.5 - 7 cups apples; peeled and sliced
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 cups corn flakes
2 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 T. sugar
1 egg yolk (save white), plus milk to =2/3 cup
1 C. butter

Divide crust dough in half, roll out.
Put half in bar pan. Sprinkle 2 cups of crushed corn flakes on top of bottom crust. Put in filling.
Roll out top crust and put it on top of filling. Press edges together.
Beat egg white until foamy; brush across top crust.
Bake at 350 45-60 minutes (until golden brown). Frost with powdered sugar, water and 1 tsp. vanilla. Drizzle frosting over the top.
Cut when cool.
