1 1/2 C flour
1 t baking powder
1/2 C margarine
1/2 C crunchy peanut butter
1 egg
1/2 C finely chopped dates
1/4 t nutmeg
1/2 t ground ginger
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour and baking powder. Cream butter, peanut butter, spices and sugars. Beat in egg, stir in dates. Add sifted dry ingredients. Chill several hours. Shape into balls the size of a walnut. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten as thin as possible with fork dipped in water. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes.
