2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup crisco
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp soda
1/3 cup molasses
2/3 cup mashed bananas

Mix thoroughly by hand or mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes; Stir in 2 1/2 tsps double acting baking powder. Add 3 eggs, 1/2 cup milk. Blend well. Pour into two deep layer pans greased and floured. Bake 375 for 35-40 minutes. Cook cake in pan for 15 miutes before removing.
