1 3/4 cups sugar
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
walnuts halves, optional
colored sugar, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Beat in eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Mix flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture; mix well. Drop by teaspoon on lightly greased cookie sheet. Flatten with floured spoon. May sprinkle with colored sugar or top with walnut halve. Bake at 360º for 7-10 minutes. Makes 4-6 dozen cookies.
