2 lb. ground beef
3/4 c. uncooked quick oats
4 slices bread (moistened with water)
2 beaten eggs
1 env. Lipton onion soup mix
1 T worchestershire sauce
4 T ketchup
1 1/2 c. tomato juice
1 tsp. mustard
salt & pepper to taste

Combine all ingreadients and mix thoroughly. Pack firmly into rectangular baking dish. Bake in 350 degree oven for 60 to 65 minutes. Spread thin layer of tomato ketchup on top and bake 3-5 minutes more if desired.

Tip: Either drain grease after baking or layer slices of stale bread in bottom of baking dish before packing meat mixture into the pan. The bread will absorb the excess grease and can be discarded.
