1 C butter 1 egg yolk 2 C flour 1 C brown sugar Pinch of salt 1 t vanilla 1 Hershey bar (1/2 lb.) or pkg. chocolate chips Ground nuts for topping
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolk. Sift in flour and salt and blend. Add vanilla. Spread on buttered cookie sheet. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350º. Melt chocolate on cake as soon as taken from oven. Sprinkle with ground nuts.
