1 dozen medium oysters
2 c. milk
2 c. light cream (half and half)
2 tbsp. butter/margarine
salt
pepper
celery salt (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk and cream together (do not let boil) and keep at a simmer. In a separate pan cook oysters in their own juice until edges curl and combine with scalded mixture. Add butter and seasonings.
